Pediatric patients often have minor injuries that can be assessed over telemedicine. Here are some common conditions we can assess and possibly treat over a video visit:
- Nose bleed
- Abrasions
- Small cuts that do not require sutures/staples
- Small bumps and bruises
- Sprains (may require x-ray)
Be seen at Little Spurs, your trusted kid’s urgent care on telemedicine if:
- You don’t think your child needs sutures, but you want a small cut looked at by a pediatric provider
- Your child might have a sprain, and you need advice on how to treat it
- You have other concerns or questions
Be seen at Little Spurs in-person if:
- You believe the cut will require staples/sutures/glue
- Your child cannot use the hurt limb and requires an x-ray
- Your child is in a lot of pain
Go to the emergency room if:
- It is a severe bone break
- The cut is bleeding profusely
